We have been there in June and it was a wonderful stay.Very good staff, delicious food at affordable cost, nice viewpoint, very clean and well maintained property. We enjoyed our stay there. If anyone planning, prefer to book wooden cottage, it will give you very good nature view in the morning and evening.

The best resort I have ever visit, the view is just beautiful and all the famous visiting places are near to Rio Resort. Highly recommended to visit at least once and you will definitely come again.

We stayed in river side cottages and they were great. The size is not too large but good enough. The property is not brand new but not even too old and hygiene was good. Indian food options were also very good and reasonably priced. They arranged for a bonfire as well on a short notice. Service was also decent considering it's a large property. The staff also heated up some of the food we were carrying for the baby. The river is very shallow which takes away a bit from the traditional riverside experience but then this lets you go in the river which isn't possible with deep rivers. Overall a nice place with good staff and management. Location is around 45 min drive from Lansdown so you end up staying at a lower altitude but that's a price you need to pay if you want a river side property in this area.

I recently stayed at this hotel for two days, and unfortunately, I had a few issues during my stay. Firstly, there was an issue with the water not coming from the tap in the bathroom, which happened twice. This was quite inconvenient and disrupted my stay. The breakfast offered at the hotel was quite limited, and the food options were average in taste. The breakfast buffet also started very late and wasn't ready until 9 a.m. for both days we stayed (we inquired the earlier day and they mentioned it would be ready by 8.30, so we planned the next day accordingly). This was quite frustrating, as we had plans to start our day early. The service at the hotel was also quite slow. Additionally, the food menu was slightly expensive with limited options. The room TV was only connected via wire, not a proper switch, which is too risky if you are with a child. One of the highlights of the hotel was the river flowing within the hotel area. The hotel refused to keep chairs or serve tea in the river for us stating Govt. regulations but we saw them doing it for some of the other preferential guest. We had an early checkout, but the staff (4 of them) didn't even wait for us to fully checkout and started cleaning up the room. Location is good as it is 1 hour before Lansdowne. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

my experience was not so good,Definitely had the worst experience ,we waited for 15 mins with 2 kids, and nobody was there on the reception, we went down ask from a labourer ,if someone is here, then 2 person came and confirm what name you have a booking, after getting the info they refused that they don't have any booking without even checking on their system,zero hospitality, after an hour we got check in, and they were least interested to attend us, pathetic experience

Amazing place to be in lansdowne. The wooden cottage next to canal is fantastic. All you hear is the sound of water and birds in the cottage. The rooms are well maintained. The food also tasted very good One thing to mention. In winters the wooden cottage gets very cold in night. So don’t forget to ask for extra blankets. Overall very good experience. Would definitely plan to visit again

I booked valley facing room, but was alloted room just above the reception which I didn't like room had issue gyser was not working. They compensated it by offering dinner on the house. Location of the resort if perfect just sit near the river and enjoy. Food is good.
